
‘Crushed Skuls’, 21″ X 30″, watercolour.
From an osteology course, part of anthropology. It had been determined that the crania had all been cracked and broken by a ground stone axe, similar to the image in the lower left of the painting.

Well excecuted and really brilliant choice of subject matter. I really like this! I think I respond to the sense of narrative that lies behind, a story we can only guess at.
